In order to implement the Development Plan of Cities within the GD-HKMacau Greater Bay Area published by the state, SIHC has purchased controlling stake in the Hopewell Highway Infrastructure. Since then, being operator of the GZ-SZ expressway, SIHC has facilitated comprehensive development & utilization of land in Shenzhen section along the expressway to promote industry upgrade, which is of great significance to improve Shenzhen’s city image and speed up construction of the GZ-SZ Technology Innovation Corridor.
SIHC and China Life Asset Management jointly originated and set up the GD-HK-Macau Greater Bay Area Investment Fund with total size of RMB20bn, which mainly invests in downstream and upstream companies involved in principal business of SIHC, projects with SIHC being landlord or industrial parks with partial investment from SIHC and companies signed up for tenancy of science and technology parks, and companies supervised by the Shenzhen SASAC.
